The Friends of the Kalkaska County Library is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers and is open to anyone interested in supporting the library.

The Friends meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) at 4:30pm. at the library.  Contact person: Ellen Vonalt, President of the Friends of the Kalkaska County Library, at 231-587-1134. 

The Friends have a small ongoing booksale in the lower level of the Library, priced as follows:.
Hardcover:$1.00 / Paperback: 50 cents / Magazines: 10 cents.

Goals:

Promote the library and enrich the resources and activities of the library

Sponsor literary, cultural and educational programs

Conduct fundraising events

Enhance and extend library services

Coordinate volunteer efforts
