The Kalkaska County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is a non-profit corporation established by the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners pursuant to the Economic Development Corporations Act. Its purpose is to provide economic assistance and advocacy to businesses within the county; assist business and government agencies attract, retain and expand employment; and to promote and foster economic prosperity. The Kalkaska County EDC is governed by a nine member Board of Directors appointed by the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners and meets at 9:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Kalkaska County Government Center in the Board of Commissioner’s Chamber.
