Welcome to the Kalkaska County Accounting Department



The Kalkaska County Accounting Department is staffed by the County Controller, Frank Wright and the Accounting Clerk, Julie Naasko. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. till 5 P.M. eastern standard time.

Responsible for all accounting functions, i.e. general ledger, financial reports, bi-weekly payroll, central purchasing, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, GASB34 compliance for the county. Personnel files are also maintained in this office.

Responsible for assisting the controller with majority of accounting functions for county. Secretarial duties for Board of Commissioners including compiling packet for monthly meeting, agendas, scheduling appointments for committees and BOC meeting.
